DIWALI SPECIAL CHOCLATE BURFII

                                                     :🍫 Chocolate Burfi Recipe

A modern fusion sweet that adds a chocolatey twist to the traditional Indian fudge.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk powder

  • ½ cup condensed milk

  • ¼ cup fresh cream (or full-fat milk)

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)

  • ¼ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder

  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios – for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan:
Grease a square tray or plate with ghee and set aside. You can also line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

  2. Make the Base:
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan over low flame. Add milk powder, condensed milk, and cream. Stir continuously to combine.

  3. Add Chocolate Flavor:
Mix in cocoa powder and sugar. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and leaves the sides of the pan.

  4. Set the Burfi:
Transfer the mixture to the greased tray. Flatten evenly using a spatula or the back of a spoon.

  5. Garnish and Cool:
Sprinkle chopped nuts and gently press them into the surface. Let it cool at room temperature or refrigerate for 30–40 minutes.

  6. Cut and Serve:
Once set, cut into square or diamond-shaped pieces and serve.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder or melted dark chocolate.

  • Add a layer of plain khoya burfi under the chocolate mixture for a two-tone effect.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Enjoy your Chocolate Burfi — the perfect blend of traditional Indian sweetness with a modern chocolate twist!
